​Matthew Sterbenz is a New Jersey based songwriter and producer. He graduated magna cum laude from Duquesne University's Mary Pappert School of Music with a bachelors in Music Technology, Sound Recording.

During this time he studied classical piano, earning the Piano Department Jury Award in May 2023 and 2024. 

​

His senior capstone A Small Circle Looking In​ showcased the modern creative process through a live recording session, EP, and concert video, for which he was named the 2025 Honors Endowed Fellow for the Creative Arts.
